Gotta say, I'm feeling a lot of mixed emotions right now...if you're not Australian you may not have heard of the Australian Women's Weekly, but it holds a unique place in our culture. It's by far the most widely read magazine Down Under. For 80 years it's been telling the stories of Australian women, and it holds particular significance for women of my mother's generation. My lovely mum passed away almost eight years ago from cancer at the age of 62. I know she would have been extremely proud to see When the Apricots Bloom chosen as the AWW book club pick of the month. If you have the chance, please give your mum a hug.🎗️
